The cafetiera has always been a staple in our Italian family home. Looking at this painting I can hear the rumble on the stove, I can smell the coffee. When I think of the cafetiera I remember early morning wake ups to my father making coffee on a frosty morning or when he calls for a visit and says "put a coffee on."
