Rachel is a Melbourne based artist who specialises in portraiture, still life and figurative pieces. Her creations aim to spark feelings of connection, belonging and reflection as well as capturing both the physical and psychological character of a subject, through layered brushwork and a considered use of colour.

Working primarily in oils, she creates paintings that balance observation and interpretation, drawing inspiration from her Italian Australian background, everyday scenes, ordinary objects, as well as themes of identity, symbolism, and storytelling. Bringing that connection to ourselves, our loved ones and celebrating the small details of life that are often taken for granted.
